Happy belated Resurrection!
For Easter, I came to my big sister's house in South Beloit to spend time with my family. I haven't seen them since Christmas and I'm so happy I was able to spend the Risen Lord's Day of Rising with them :)
I decided to stay at my sister's house for a few extra days (with one change of clothes and no phone charger- oops!) and I'm so glad I did.
I've been able to have time with my nieces, Hailey & Hannah the twins (8) and Abby (4).
On Easter, the girls and I read books for a huge chunk of time after dinner. That was so sweet and special for me , I LOVE STORY TIME!!!! I've wanted to write children's books for as long as I can remember and I enjoy reading them more than Big girl books! Hailey and Hannah are great little readers now so they are able to pick out the words I miss or say wrong as I'm reading- no cheating!
After story time, I got to tuck in the girls and we talked a little bit and then they both asked me to sing for them. I love lullabies too! It was so precious and such a gift from God to be able to spend this sweet time with my three favorite girls! I am so blessed, they really are so beautiful- inside and out. I just hope and pray that I'll be able to always be a light and an example for them. I love them so stinkin' much!
There have been so many sweet moments these past few days and my heart is so happy in the midst of my regular storm of a life. I've gotten so choked up and sentimental and I praise the Lord for the wonderful gifts He has so generously given me... He's such a showoff !!!!
